Navitas
A global education provider with 120 campuses had a major roll-out on a short timeline and releases that still ran by hand.
The problem
Navitas runs a bespoke student-management system for more than 70,000 students in 24 countries. Releases were manual and carefully planned, because one monolithic template meant the front end and the APIs could not be deployed without touching the database. Teams were already stretched.
What we did
Reviewed first and reported with prioritised recommendations. Then worked inside Navitas's own DevOps team: replaced manual deployment with end-to-end CI/CD from their on-premises source control into AWS, and split the infrastructure into loosely coupled parts that deploy independently.
What's simpler now
- Code reaches production within minutes instead of hours, with no manual steps.
- Dev and test environments are created and destroyed in a fraction of the time and cost.
- Developers spend their time on features instead of waiting for infrastructure.
