A Perth hospitality group
Three venues in one precinct, each with its own systems and none of them talking to each other.
The problem
A hotel on a property-management system, a café and pizzeria on a point of sale, a golf venue on a tee sheet, rosters in a fourth system and accounts in a fifth. Every question meant logging into several of them and a spreadsheet to join the answers. Stock was counted on a clipboard. Decisions about rooms, rates, menus and tee times ran on instinct and whatever report was easiest to pull.
What we did
Put every system's data into one place and gave it a plain-English interface, so a question like "which rooms sell when the weather turns" gets an answer without a report being built. Built a stocktake and ordering app for the café that makes the count match the system before anyone orders. Turned tee-sheet history into a demand model that shapes pricing and marketing. Connected the venue reporting to the same portal the team uses every day.
What's simpler now
- One place to ask.
- Decisions on rooms, rates, events and menus made on numbers.
- Stock that reconciles.
- Marketing aimed at the times and customers the data says are there.
